SPACE PLANNING

& DESIGN

Great design begins with your ideas. Our team of certified, trained and dedicated space planners and designers will work with you to bring them to life. Through design specification and implementation, we will offer solutions that maximize your space, encourage growth, foster collaboration, and meet budget requirements.

We begin the space planning and design process with a pre-design meeting. This is where we meet with you to discuss your goals and requirements. We then move on to the design development phase; exploring ideas and testing concepts. We will also help you choose all finishes, upholsteries and materials and recommend access points for any electrical components. In the project documentation phase, all products and finishes you have selected are documented and specified. Once your approval is met, everything is ready to be ordered.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Purchasing office furniture can be complex, but with VFS Business Interiors, it doesn’t have to be. We bring common sense to workplace furnishings and work directly all parties involved to seamlessly plan the entire process and effectively manage it each step of the way.

It starts with understanding the project goals and team members. We create a communication plan, make contact lists, and prepare schedules, coordinating the schedules of all trades involved. Throughout the furniture manufacturing process, we monitor the schedules for delays or changes. Our team will also supervise the installation and troubleshoot any problems that might arise. From preparing schedules to performing a final walk-thru with the client, our team of knowledgeable experts will keep you up-to-date and on-schedule.

DELIVERY &

INSTALLATION

You’ve invested a lot in your furniture; we will make sure that it arrives to your space on-time and in perfect condition. Our delivery team supports product transfers, pick-ups and deliveries. Drivers are thoroughly trained and keep in contact with dispatch and with customers while en route, verifying all delivery times and locations.

Our installers can install just about any type of workplace product imaginable. They are experts in furniture systems, and can install either newly purchased products, or existing pieces you’d like to relocate.

The planning process begins with a meeting between your account executive, the furniture project manager, and the lead installer. At the time of installation, the crew reviews all on-site project specifics. Once the installation is completed, the crew ensures everything is clean, complete and fine-tuned to the customers’ satisfaction. We work quickly and efficiently to ensure as little interruption as possible to your workflow.
